Fill a Form from Your Documents
Fills one blank form from the documents and notes the package holds, and hands the agent a link to the filled form.
Overview
You add a blank form and whatever holds your data: a tax record, a bid package, a note in the message box, an answer to a question the agent asked. This is the step that turns those into a filled document.
It drives the same fill the web app's own fill button drives, so what comes back is a form filled the way Instafill.ai fills one anywhere else, with the same autofill from source documents behind it. The difference is who decides: the agent picks which attachments are data and which of your messages carry facts, and calls this once.

When the Agent Chooses This Tool
Available in the Fill Any Form workflow. The appraisal-report, pre-bid and coating QA workflows do not have it.
The instructions call it once, after the form is in place, with the form, every attachment except the blank form itself, and the messages that carry facts for it.
- A spreadsheet whose rows are separate records goes to the batch instead, which fills one form per row.
- No data at all is a question rather than a call: the agent asks for the data in a way that lets you hand it over without leaving the screen.
- An answer that brings nothing is read as an instruction to stop, not as data.
- Where the workspace keeps standing information with us, it goes into the fill by itself, along with the records the run looked up.
Inputs and Outputs
Takes: the form, the attachments to fill from, which of your messages apply, and whether to add the documents of the form's last finished fill.
Returns: the filled form's address and how many fields were filled out of the total, or the reason the fill produced nothing.
Example
A contractor adds a blank bid form, last month's bid package and a note: "Same as the Fulton job, bid price $41,500."
The agent calls this once with the bid package as the data and the run's note included. The fill reads both and comes back filled, with a link to it. The package's deliverable is that filled form.
Limits
- One fill per run. The workflow's instructions allow a single fill or a single batch in a run.
- Redoing the last fill needs a last fill. With no finished fill to take documents from, the call comes back saying so, and so it does when that fill was made from a message alone and this one names no document of its own.
- Nothing to fill from is refused. No attachment the agent named resolved, none of your messages were included and no record was looked up.
- The wait has a limit. A fill that outlives it is recorded as failed, and the form's fine-tuning landing later does not quietly fill it after the fact.
- The fill is covered by the run. Filling the same form again after the run has finished is an ordinary paid fill.
- A thin fill still counts as done. Fields filled and fields total come back, and it is worth reading them: the agent is told to say so when the first is well short of the second.

Can I just write the details instead of attaching a document?
Yes. What you type goes into the fill as data, and so does an answer you give to a question the agent asked, under the run that asked it.
How do I redo a fill with one value changed?
Say so in the package. The agent can add the documents the form's last finished fill was made from and fill again with your change included, so you restate only what changed.
Does the agent's fill cost a separate credit?
No. A fill inside a running package claims no fill credit of its own. Filling the same form again afterwards, outside a run, is an ordinary paid fill.
