How Silverwings Benefits fills Attendance Allowance claim forms from client call transcripts
Silverwings Benefits is a UK consultancy near Newcastle that helps elderly and disabled clients apply for government benefits, among them Attendance Allowance (the AA1A) and Scotland's Pension Age Disability Payment (PADP). Founded in early 2024, it handles about 100 forms a month and plans to reach 5,000 a month across several offices within a year. With Instafill.ai, the transcript of each client call fills the whole claim form.

The challenge
Every client starts with a 60–90 minute phone interview. Staff then spent hours turning each call into a completed government form, and the forms are long: 32 pages for the AA1A and 88 for the PADP. Every answer has to be exact, so the typing could not be rushed.
At 100 forms a month the work was manageable. At 5,000 it would have meant 50 times the staff.
The solution
The founder, Craig Lowther, tested Instafill.ai by pasting a raw call transcript straight in, without writing any parsing logic first. The form came back accurately filled, because Instafill.ai fills a form from pasted text or attached files as they are.
Calls are now transcribed automatically, and each transcript reaches Instafill.ai through a dedicated email address or a webhook. Instafill.ai fills the form group by group, which keeps the answers accurate even on a densely packed 32-page form. Rules set up in the platform make sure, for example, that no required yes/no question is left blank.
The team reviews and adjusts how each field is described in the field editor, so a change to the business rules needs no programmer. The filled PDF is emailed back, a staff member checks it, and it goes to the client for an e-signature.
The results
I didn't put any parsing logic in at all, and it gave me a pretty accurate result. I was amazed. It got everything perfect.
Craig Lowther, Founder, Silverwings Benefits
Silverwings Benefits processes its 100 forms a month with near 100% accuracy and faster turnaround, without the custom scripts it used to rely on. Validation at the level of each field lowers its compliance risk, and non-technical staff manage the form logic themselves. The same setup is what the company is counting on to grow to 5,000 forms a month.
The forms
The Attendance Allowance claim form is the Department for Work and Pensions claim for people of State Pension age or over, 32 pages long. The Pension Age Disability Payment form is the Scottish benefit's claim form, from Social Security Scotland, and runs to 88 pages. Instafill.ai's catalog also has Form AA1, the claim for Attendance Allowance, ready to fill.
